Tenebrae

As my darkness envelopes them, I whisper,
“God is light, in whom there is no darkness at all. 
And this is the judgement, that the light has come into the world,
And we loved darness rather than light.”
I consume the souls they relinquish, letting the murmer of the black river fill the void left by these words.
